I have a deep love of animals, and painting pet portraits is not just a way to make a living—it's a passion that brings me immense joy and fulfilment. Each portrait is a unique journey that starts with spending time with the photos of your beloved pets and understanding their personalities through the stories you share. As a Sussex artist, I truly enjoy talking to pet owners, getting to know you and your furry, feathered, or scaled family members, big and small. This personal connection is what makes my work so special.

The greatest reward for me is seeing your reaction to the finished portrait and the happiness it brings. Knowing that my art can evoke such joy and become a cherished memory for you is incredibly fulfilling. I strive to provide a personal and heartfelt service, ensuring that every time I create a pet portrait from a photo that it is a true reflection of the love and bond you share with your pet. Your satisfaction and the smiles my portraits bring are what drive my passion and commitment to this art.

Quality of materials

As a Sussex artist, I use professional brands and oils used for creating your portraits. This ensures quality in the colours and detailing, and a lasting artwork that will not fade or deteriorate over time. I find oil paints are best personally for capturing fine details, and depicting the subtle changes in colour needed to capture a coat with many shades and tones.
